Who we are

Fosterhance Health and Rights Initiative is a youth-led organization dedicated to advancing health equity, reproductive rights, and inclusive education. We empower communities across Kenya through advocacy, education, and healthcare services.
Founded and led by healthcare professionals, educators, and activists, we work at the grassroots and policy levels to promote informed choices, challenge stigma, and push for systems that support safe motherhood, reproductive autonomy, and gender justice.

Our Story

Founded in 2024, Fosterhance emerged from a shared vision to address systemic barriers to reproductive health and gender justice in Kenya.

Our founders recognized the urgent need for community-driven solutions to tackle issues like obstetric violence, limited access to maternal healthcare, and stigma around sexual and reproductive health. Today, we operate in 5 counties within Kenya, empowering youth, women, and marginalized communities through education, healthcare, and advocacy.

To improve reproductive health awareness and access by combining community-based education, provision of healthcare services, and robust advocacy campaigns.

VISION

Empowered communities enjoying equitable access to healthcare, inclusive education, and reproductive autonomy—fostering safe motherhood, healthy childbirth, low STI rates, and sustainable livelihoods for thriving families.
